Our cotton scarves and shawls are made in a small village on the island of Java, Indonesia. In a tradition that has been handed down for generations the men hand weave them on handmade wooden looms. The intricate openwork patterns have been handed down from father to son through the generations. Being completely handmade, the charm is in the irregularities of the thread and the weave, the sizes are approximate.
